ABC Challenge: O

Hello there! I know, slack blogger is still slack, but I've had SO many new beautiful new babies to play with lately (ordered online, and also my local Farmers (NZ equivalent of Target) has just started stocking Essie polishes - previously unavailable in stores here!!) so I haven't been concentrating on getting blog posts ready - sorry! >.< I'd like to say I'll get better but in all honesty, there's a strong likelihood that I'll stay as slack as ever especially as we get into the crazy holiday retail season! Anywho, today I have a nice bold PINK to share with you for 'O'. Presenting Sinful Colors Oasis.

I used two coats for these photos, but if you have a steady hand, one coat would be fine. I added a coat of Seche Shrink Vite because I've got a few lumps and bumps on my nails at the moment from gluing them back together >_< and SV smooths and evens everything out.
This is a very blue-based pink, and even has a little blue / purple shimmer that flashes through from time to time. This is one of the first Sinful Colors polishes I picked up, I think? Still super impressed with the amazing formulas at ridiculously reasonable prices. There's nothing that compares available here - similar formulas retail for NZ$23 - NZ$30 in store, but SC is only NZ$6 a bottle!

I originally wanted to do a Breast Cancer Awareness mani because it's pink, and I was aiming to post this in October (BCA month) but because it's now November and I'm super duper lazy, I went with an easy dotticure instead.
I used OPI Black Onyx and a couple of dotting tools I got from BornPrettyStore for this effect. I didn't even smudge it when I put a coat of Seche Vite on top! *proud of myself* That's gotta be a first!!
Practice and patience really do pay off. These are so much cleaner than what I've done before, and (mostly) a lot more uniform in size, too. I was actually paying attention for once lol!

I'm cheating for the next post - instead of doing a polish starting with the letter 'P', I'm gonna do a brand! I got some new polishes in the post, and I *have* to share them with you! You'll see why when the post goes up ;-). Thank you for reading / looking, and I hope you're all enjoying the lead up to the Holidays! ^_^
