OPI Brazil pt2

Hello, lovelies! I have a couple more polishes from the OPI Brazil collection for you today. I think I've got all the ones I want from this collection now, so it's probably the last Brazil post. I've chosen the two I was most intrigued by: I Just Can't Cope-acabana and Red Hot Rio. Check 'em out after the jump!
First up is I Just Can't Cope-acabana. I picked this one up mostly because I'd seen a few reviews raving about the formula and I wanted to check it out for myself. To be completely honest, I was absolutely blown away! It is super crazy rare to find a smooth creamy buttery formula on a yellow polish, but OPI totally nailed it! (Pun only slightly intended). This is two coats with no top coat. Can you believe it!!??!
This formula couldn't have been more perfect. It applied like your favourite pink or blue - definitely NOT like a yellow! It was almost a one-coater but my application was a bit patchy so I added a second. Yum yum yum yum yum!
My skin tone doesn't really allow me to wear yellows or anything yellow-based (I have a REALLY hard time finding any oranges / corals I can wear without looking 6 months deceased) but this is such a buttery-yellow that I was surprised how much I liked it against my pale-ash skin tone. I reckon OPI has done a brilliant job creating an 'all-rounder' yellow.
Next up is Red Hot Rio. I nearly passed on this one because "Seriously? Another red? I've got so many great ones already..." but then I figured OPI wouldn't release yet another blue-based red creme without good reason. They had good reason. This. Is. Ah. Mazing.
Again two coats, no top coat. I said it on IG and I'll say it here: If you only have one Red polish in your stash, this should be it. Oh my glob. I'm so in love.
Applied like a creme with that completely delish ultra-glossy jelly finish รก la Amazon... Amazoff. This one practically applied itself - and clean up didn't stain! (Those red cuticles are from a vigorous pre-photo moisturising). My best and favourite OPI red has always been Big Apple Red and this is almost a dupe (I'll compare 'em sometime) but RHR seems a little deeper - not as bright? More mature somehow, I dunno. It's just gorgeous!!
I'll testify that OPI is definitely back on the right track. They had some misses last year with their formulas but from what I've seen of this collection, they've stepped up their game something wicked. Yay!

Thank you for popping in! Take care, lovely people.
